Rolling Thunder

All Gave Some, Some Gave All

During the Vietnam War, the saturation carpet bombing missions of the B-52s were called "Rolling Thunder" because of the noise produced by the intense bombing.  Today, "Rolling Thunder" is a gathering of Vets and friends every Memorial Day in Washington, DC.  Hundreds of thousands of bikers meet at the Pentagon parking lot and parade through the streets of Washington until they arrive at their final destination, the Wall. 

Here they pay tribute and honor to those fallen brothers who made the supreme sacrifice.  They ride and they rejoice for those who never will.  Each, in our own way, demonstrate our appreciation for those whose names are carved in granite.  For those we knew, for those we never will, we salute you.

Let us never forget that some may still
be alive and held against their will.
